Woman's Body Found In Ohio River

LEETSDALE (KDKA) -- A body was found in the Ohio River on Sunday.

Emergency crews began responding to the scene near the Leetsdale Boat Ramp around 4:15 p.m.

KDKA-TV's Bob Allen reports that the body was found near a barge next to the Ambridge Bridge on the Aliquippa side of the river.

Authorities have confirmed that the victim is a white female who was wearing a bathing suit, but the victim's identity will not be released until Monday.
