BURGETTSTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) -- Fans reportedly waited hours to get into the Jimmy Buffett concert at KeyBank Pavilion Saturday night.

According to one fan, there was a problem with metal detectors at the gates, forcing people to stand in long lines for hours.

One fan said a crowd was still waiting to get inside around 9:10 p.m. The show was scheduled to start at 8 p.m., and the fan says from outside the gates, they could hear the first song being performed just before 8:30 p.m.

Another woman said she finally got into the concert at intermission and only was able to hear a few songs. She said people were pushing and fighting in the lines and that she called 911 because at times she felt unsafe in the crowd.

Others claimed it was a total mess from the moment they parked and demanded reimbursement.

Live Nation Pittsburgh released the following statement in response:

"During last night's show some fans experienced longer than normal wait times. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may have caused and will continue working hard to prevent situations like this from happening again in the future. Any fans who experienced delays are encouraged to reach out to Ticketmaster Fan Support."

A man who claimed he'd attended 30 Jimmy Buffett concerts in the past said he'd never experienced anything like he did at KeyBank Pavilion. Many upset concertgoers went online to leave the venue with one-star reviews after the show.
