SWISSVALE (KDKA) -- A man is in critical condition being shot in Swissvale late Monday morning.

It happened just before 11:45 a.m. on Denniston Avenue near Collingwood Avenue.

Allegheny County Police say seven juvenile males were interviewed. As of Monday night at 11 p.m., three were released to their parents, three were taken to Shuman Center on unrelated juvenile attachments with one having new charges unrelated to the incident, and one being charged as an adult for a separate incident that occurred Sunday in North Braddock.

Neighbor Denise Scott says she heard three shots and saw a young man run over and collapse by her car.

"I heard boom, boom, boom, and I was like, what was that? And then this kid came running out from in between the houses over there, and he was like, call 911, I've been shot," Scott said.

The neighbor ran into her house and called 911 after the man yelled for help.
