Cell phone video sent to KDKA's Meghan Schiller shows one man covered in blood and holding a liquor bottle.

Police say a man on the ground pulled out a knife first. The guy standing with the bottle fought back and hit him over the head.

The fight attracted a large crowd.

"I walked down here to see what was up and there was blood everywhere and I was like, 'oh snap, this isn't just a fight,'" witness Cayden Davis said.

"According to the initial investigation that's just beginning, two males began fighting. One male pulled a knife and stabbed the second male in the face. They wrestled, went to the ground. The second male picked up a bottle and struck the first male. At some point, the knife fell from the first male's hand," Pittsburgh Police Public Information Officer Chris Togneri said.

A woman was also taken into police custody Thursday afternoon.

"A woman who witnessed the fight was briefly questioned on scene and she left," said Togneri.

After police removed her handcuffs, the woman retrieved her dog that had been tied up to the guard rail inside the crime scene. She told KDKA she had nothing to do with the altercation.

The stabbing victim is expected to be OK.

According to authorities, the attacker was arrested and will be facing charges of aggravated assault.
