MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) – Devante Jones had a season-high 32 points as Coastal Carolina got past West Virginia 109-91 in the second round of the College Basketball Invitational on Monday night.

Tommy Burton had 16 points for Coastal Carolina (17-16). Zac Cuthbertson added 15 points. Ebrima Dibba had 14 points and six assists for the road team. Jones shot 6 for 8 on 3-pointers and the Chanticleers finished with 13.

Both teams set season records for scoring in the second half. Coastal Carolina totaled 59 second-half points, a season best for the visitors, while the 55 second-half points for West Virginia were the best of the season for the home team.
