Man Rescued From River Under 9th Street Bridge
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Saturday evening at approximately 7:40, Pittsburgh Police, EMS, Fireboat and River Rescue responded to the Allegheny River underneath the 9th Street Bridge to reports of a male in the river, according to officials.
An unidentified man was located in the water on the Downtown side of the bridge and divers pulled him to safety.
He was conscious and alert with no serious injuries.
The man was transported to the hospital for evaluation in stable condition.
