Downed Trees And Power Lines Closed Portion Of Spring Run Road In Crescent Township

CRESCENT TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- UPDATE, 8:41 p.m., All debris has been cleared and Spring Run Road has opened to through traffic.

Crescent Township Fire Department is reporting that Spring Run Road between McGovern Boulevard and Brodhead Road is closed due to power lines that have been downed along with trees that have fallen.

Due to high winds in the area, the road closure was decided at 4:30 p.m.

Duquense Light has been called and they are determining if any homes or businesses are without power.
