Police Search For Shooter After They Find East Hills Man Shot To Death In Car

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (KDKA)-- Pittsburgh Police are searching for a shooter after they found a man shot to death in a car.

They identified Ricky Moultrie as the victim.

Officers responded to the report of a deceased male on Lee Way near Sunrise Avenue around 2:50 a.m.

Responding officers from Zone 5 found the victim and say he suffered from a gunshot wound to the head.

Pittsburgh EMS responded and declared the 20-year-old dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing to find the suspect of the crime.

"That upsets me highly because this is one of the nicest neighborhoods I know of," says resident Jo Barnett.

"It's so quiet back here. Everybody knows everybody."

One resident Rick Dennis says he thinks crime has gotten worse over time.

He says it's a popular area for through-traffic. "I'm a dog walker," he says.

"I see them parked around here selling drugs and what have you. That's just how it is."

The police are still unsure what the motive might be.
