Armed Police Officers Coming To Every School In Plum School District

PLUM, Pa. (KDKA) -- Police officers will be on patrol in every school in the Plum School District this fall.

The superintendent said the district just hired a sixth officer, allowing them to have an officer in each school.

The officers are part of the newly assembled Plum School Police Department.

The superintendent said the goal is to keep the schools safe, be proactive toward threats and engage with students.
