AAA In East Liberty Hosting Paper Shredding Event Saturday

EAST LIBERTY (KDKA) -- Those with lots of paperwork that needs to be shredded and recycled are in luck today.

AAA is hosting a shredding event at their offices in East Liberty on Baum Boulevard from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The event is open to everyone and those wanting to dispose of paper do not have to be AAA members.

"The idea behind it is we get it here, we shred it here on-site," Jim Garrity of AAA said. "We at AAA are helping the community prevent identity theft."

Up to five boxes will be accepted to shred for free and all of the paper will be recycled.
