Students Accused Of Serving Tainted Crepes Face Charges

POWELL, Ohio (AP) - Seven Ohio middle school students accused of being involved in serving teachers crepes tainted with bodily fluids face juvenile felony charges.

The Columbus Dispatch reports several teachers at Olentangy Hyatts Middle School in Powell ate crepes reportedly laced with semen and urine during a cooking class on May 16.

Three boys were charged in Delaware County with delinquency felony assault for either putting semen on a teacher's crepe, planning to put semen on a crepe or putting urine in barbecue sauce poured onto crepes fed to four teachers.

The other four boys were charged with delinquency complicity to assault.

Their attorney, Brad Koffel, says the boys have acknowledged their involvement and are remorseful.

All seven are 14-year-old eighth-graders. They are scheduled to be arraigned later this month.
