Point State Park Hosts 14th Annual Walk To Defeat ALS
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Large crowds took over Point State Park for a great cause.
Saturday was the 14th annual Walk to Defeat ALS.
More than 2,000 people participated to raise awareness for the debilitating disease.
This year's walk also commemorated the five-year anniversary of the ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) Ice Bucket Challenge.
More than $500,000 was raised at the event Saturday.
