Pedestrian Dead After Being Struck By Car In Murrysville

MURRYSVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) -- One person was struck by a car Saturday night in Westmoreland County.

911 Dispatch says it happened on route 380 near Greensburg Road in Murrysville on Saturday.

Units were dispatched to Rte 380 near the Auction Barn for a fatal pedestrian accident. Other responding agencies include; Sardis VFD, Washington Twp VFD, Upper Burrell VFD and Monroeville #5 VFD

Steven Evankovich, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Westmoreland County Coroner announced Sunday night.

His cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries due to being struck by vehicle(s).

His manner of death as accidental.
