PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Pirates announced two roster moves on Monday night.

The Pirates have non-tendering Elias Diaz, making him a free agent.

The catcher recorded a .241 batting average with 73 hits, 28 RBIs and two home runs in 2019.

An agreement for a 2020 contract was also agreed to with shortstop Erik Gonzalez.

Gonzalez had a .254 batting average, 36 hits, six RBIs and one home run with the Pirates.

The Pirates roster now sits at 39 players.
