High Winds Cause Power Outages Throughout Western Pa.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)--High winds overnight Sunday led to power outages throughout western Pennsylvania.

More than 900 Duquesne Light customers were in the dark, mostly in Ross Township, Oakland, and McCandless.

Nearly 5,800 West Penn Power customers across the region also experienced outages.  The majority of them were in Allegheny and Armstrong counties.
