Two Dead, Three Injured In Crash Involving Truck And Amish Buggy

CLINTONVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) - A woman and a boy are dead after a crash involving a truck and an Amish buggy on Clintonville Road in Venango County.

According to state police, the crash occurred just after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday when a log truck struck the buggy from behind.

A family of five was inside the buggy and an adult male was flown to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown and a girl was flown to UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

The coroner was called to the scene and the woman and boy were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
