HAYS, Pa. (KDKA) — An eaglet in the Hays Bald Eagle nest hatched early Monday morning.

The Audubon Society confirmed the hatch of the egg around 6:40 a.m.

The first of the two eggs hatched over the weekend.

This is the 12th  eaglet that the pair of bald eagles have hatched.
