Allegheny County Jail Temporarily Halts In-Person Attorney Visits
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - In an effort to stop any potential spread of coronavirus, the Allegheny County Jail has temporarily suspended in-person attorney visits.
During the halt of in-person visits, attorneys can still meet with inmates and clients by phone.
Allegheny County Jail is also taking steps to protect confidentiality.
Lawyers must file a request to not have the call monitored with the jail.
