BRENTWOOD (KDKA) — One of the bigger Fourth of July celebrations in our region will not happen this year.

Brentwood borough canceled its holiday festivities, including the parade, for the summer.

In a post, the police chief says the decision was made in the best interest of everyone’s safety.

“We hope that everyone continues to practice proper social distancing as we get through this pandemic so we can have a strong 2021 rebound! Thanks,” chief Adam Zeppuhar posted.
