Duquesne Police Announce Passing Of Former Chief Richard 'Lefty' Adams

DUQUESNE, Pa. (KDKA) -- Richard 'Lefty' Adams, a former police chief from Duquesne with over 50 years of service has passed away.

The Duquesne Police Department announced his passing in a Facebook post on Friday.

Chief Adams served as the Chief from 1994 until his retirement in 2016.

Chief Adams served in the department for over 50 years, serving in various roles including K-9 officer and Detective.
