Man Dies After Jumping Into Pond In Unity Township
WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) -- A 52-year old man died after jumping into a pond in Unity Township on Saturday evening.
The Westmoreland County Coroner's Office says that Patrick A. Takitch jumped into a pond off of Route 130 and never came to the surface.
A search and rescue team recovered his body on Sunday morning.
The cause and manner of death is pending the results of an autopsy.
The incident is under investigation.
