Aliquippa Police Department K9 Officer Stella Receives Body Armor Donation

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (KDKA) -- Stella, a K9 officer with the Aliquippa Police Department has received a donation of body armor.

The vest for Stella comes with protection from both bullets and stabbings.

The donation comes from Vested Interest in K9s, a non-profit that helps provide assistance to dogs of law enforcement agencies.

Stella's vest comes embroidered with the phrase "Honoring those who served and sacrificed."
