JEFFERSON HILLS (KDKA) – Drivers were detoured after a bad rollover crash which involved a Jefferson Hills Police Officer.
It happened around 8:15 Wednesday morning. Jefferson Hills Police Chief Gene Roach says the officer was traveling Northbound and the other driver was driving Southbound. The two hit head on.READ MORE: Police Recover Drugs, Money, And Stolen Guns From Residence In Homewood
He says both drivers were initially entrapped in their vehicles and once they were free — both were flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital.

He says this one is especially tough because it involves one of their own.
