Pittsburgh Buildings Light Up In Honor Of Juneteenth

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Several Pittsburgh buildings lit up Friday night in honor of Juneteenth.

PPG Paints Arena, the City-County Building, Fifth Avenue Place, and the BNY Mellon building were among those that were lit up for Juneteenth.

Juneteenth is celebrated on June 19th to honor the emancipation of slavery in the United States.
