According to the Rural Ridge Fire Chief, one person lived in each home.

“We did lose one house totally, it was fully involved. The other house, the exposure, has some minor damage, probably some minor water damage also, but he’s lucky, he’s probably going to be able to stay in that house tonight,” said Adam Siemianowski, Rural Ridge Fire Chief.
