PETERS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) – A SWAT team was called to a scene in Peters Township after it was a reported a gunman had barricaded inside a home with a hostage.

The Peters Township fire department said the road was closed from Center Church Road to Inverness Drive because of an “active police incident.” People were warned to avoid the area.

East McMurray Road has since reopened and the fire department says the scene isn’t active anymore.
