HARRISBURG (KDKA) – The state court system is warning Pennsylvania residents of a phone scam.

According to the court system, the scammer is calling from a number that appears to be the administrative office of the Pennsylvania courts.

The caller then claims to be a relative in need of bail money or to pay a fine or other court expense.

They say it is not an authentic call and to not give any personal information.
