Police Break Up Suspected Dog Fighting Ring In Penn Hills

PENN HILLS, Pa. (KDKA) -- Police broke up a suspected dog fighting ring in Penn Hills.
Juqea Sears is facing a number of neglect and animal cruelty charges. Police say they found seven dogs at a house on Calvin Street, and each dog had injuries like it had been in a fight.
Law enforcement also found equipment used to train and condition dogs to fight. Inside the house, police say they found drugs, guns and cash.
