Period To Submit Claims For iPhone Class Action Lawsuit Coming To End
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Oct. 6 is the last day iPhone owners can submit claims as part of a class action lawsuit settlement with Apple.
Apple admitted it used software updates to deliberately slow down older model phones.
However, the company said it did it to protect phones with older lithium-ion batteries.
Under the $500 million settlement, people who have iPhone versions 6 or 7 can file a claim and get up to $25.
