COVID Alert PA Passes 300,000 Downloads

HARRISBURG (KDKA) - Pennsylvania's contact tracing app is gaining in popularity.
COVID Alert PA has surpassed 300,000 downloads.
Three weeks ago, the free mobile app launched.
Through the usage of Bluetooth technology, it will let the user know if they have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
If the user does come in close contact - they'll receive an alert on what to do next.
