Pittsburgh Law Firm Suing Retailers, Claiming The Stores Illegally Charged Sales Tax On Face Masks

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A Pittsburgh law firm is suing 15 different retailers including American Eagle, J. Crew, Kohl's, and Gap.

The law firm says that the stores charged sales tax on face coverings they sold, even though Governor Wolf ordered those masks to be exempt from tax.

The law firm is trying to get $100 back to consumers for each mask purchase they made with sales tax.
