Pittsburgh Police: Crime Dropped 18% In August Compared To 2019

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police say that crime is down in the city.

Overall, crime in August dropped nearly 18% from 2019 and serious crimes were down 22%.

When compared to the five-year average, crime in August was down by nearly 26%.
