PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – After a controversy over books inside the Allegheny County Jail, the county has expanded its partnership with the Carnegie Library.

According to the county, the library will provide expanded access to more E-books and audiobooks for inmates.

Last month, the jail suspended family and friends from ordering books for inmates.

The policy was decided on due to an investigation involving contraband.
