New Year's Day Jump Into Youghiogheny River Canceled

CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) -- There will be no jumping into the Youghiogheny River on New Year's Day.
The Connellsville Polar Bear Club committee canceled its annual Polar Bear Jump. It says the event would likely violate coronavirus rules on gatherings.
The event is a fundraiser for Connellsville Community Ministries, and the committee is asking people to still donate food or money.
