'Free File Alliance' Offers Free Tax Preparation To Millions Of Americans

WASHINGTON (KDKA) - If you're looking to get a jump start on your 2020 tax returns, the IRS is stepping up with a free program for you to file your taxes.

The "Free File Alliance" will provide free tax preparation to millions of Americans who made less than $72,000 last year.

Tax season will likely begin at the end of the month, though no date has been set yet.
