PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Coronavirus pandemic has been hard on families, especially those who were already struggling.

On Saturday, Greater Works Church stepped up to fill the need.

Through a partnership with the Farmers to Families program, they handed out hundreds of pounds of food to those in need.

The giveaway helped more than 1,100 families in the area and organizers say they plan to help many more.
