Virtual THON Kicks Off At Penn State University

UNIVERSITY PARK (KDKA) -- THON weekend is now underway.
Like many things taking place during the pandemic, THON is happening virtually.
Instead of packing the Bryce Jordan Center, dancers will remain on their feet in their homes for 46 hours straight.
THON raises money for pediatric cancer research.
Last year, it raised almost $12 million.
