Crews Put Out Fire After Explosion At West Va. Oil Refinery

NEWELL, W. Va. (KDKA) -- An explosion at an oil refinery in West Virginia kept dozens of fire crews busy early Sunday morning.

The explosion happened late Saturday night at the Ergon plant in Newell.

Dispatchers tell KDKA that several Beaver Co. fire crews were sent to the scene to help put out the flames.

CNN affiliate WTOV reports that no one was injured and the fire was put under control just before 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
