PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Allegheny County Health Department will be treating storm water catch basins throughout the city next week to keep mosquitos from breeding.

The product crews will be using is not toxic to people, pets, or aquatic life.

Any basins that will be treated will be marked with bright green paint.

Anyone who lives in the area is asked to remove any standing water from their property to cut down on the number of places mosquitos can breed.
