Pittsburgh Launches 'Childcare Quality Fund'

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The City of Pittsburgh has launched a program to help support childcare facilities.

Licensed centers in the city can now apply for grants through the "Childcare Quality Fund."

A total of $2 million is available.

Money can be used for facility improvements, including repairs and expanding capacity.

It can also help childcare centers purchase learning materials.
