UPMC Working To Develop New Cancer Immunotherapy Treatments

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- UPMC is working with a biotechnology company to develop new cancer immunotherapy treatments.

The goal is to help patients in days instead of weeks.

Immunotherapy-based cancer treatments target a person's immune system, helping too kill tumors on its own.

UPMC hopes to help a wider range of cancer patients through the partnership.
