Avanti Frozen Foods Recalling Frozen Shrimp Over Salmonella Concerns

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Check your freezers. A company is recalling pre-cooked frozen shrimp.

Avanti Frozen Foods is recalling its shrimp that has been sold under a variety of different brand names at stores like Whole Foods and Target.

The recall covers products sold between last November through May of this year.

It's connected to an earlier outbreak of salmonella that was thought to have been contained last month.
