PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Allegheny County Council unanimously passed a bill on Tuesday to require paid sick days.
The bill would apply to companies that have more than 25 workers, requiring them to provide up to 40 hours a year of paid sick leave.
Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald previously vetoed a sick day bill, but that was before the Allegheny County Board of Health passed its own rules.
