Mavis Staples Set To Open Highmark Blues & Heritage Festival

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Mavis Staples will be in Pittsburgh this weekend to kick off the Highmark Blues & Heritage Festival.

Her singing career has now spanned more than 70 years.

She'll open the festival on Friday night at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center.

The festival will continue on Saturday at Highmark Stadium.
