Police Investigating Shooting In Fayette Co.

FAYETTE COUNTY (KDKA) — An investigation is underway after a person was shot near Uniontown, Fayette County.
State troopers responded early Tuesday morning to reports of a person shot near an apartment building on Searight Herbert Road in Menallen Township.
The condition of the person who was shot is unknown at this time.
A woman who lives on the other side of the duplex where the victim was hit said a bullet went through her kitchen.
"I wasn't home, thank God. When I got a call, they said they heard shooting all around the apartment," Deborah Davis said.
She said the bullet shot through right above her stove and believes if she had been home, she could have been hit.
"I mean, if I had been here cooking, that's vital! This is your vitals!" Davis said.
A woman who said she's related to the victim told KDKA that her niece was shot twice.
The woman said the victim was inside the duplex with friends when shots were fired.
Multiple bullet holes could be seen outside the duplex and through the window of the victim's home.
Police have not released any more information about the shooting.
