GREENSBURG (KDKA) – A firefighter was injured as crews battled a house fire in Greensburg.

After 8:30 p.m., flames broke out at the home on Farmington Place.

Dispatch says it was called to at least 2 alarms.

“It’s going to be awhile, we’ll be digging for hotspots the rest of the evening,” said Hempfield Fire Chief Anthony Kovacic.

The residents of the home were not home at the time of the fire and the cause is being investigated.
