Drugs, Cash, And Guns Found After Standoff In Kiski Township

KISKI TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A man is in custody after an early-morning standoff in the Village of Edmon in Kiski Township.

Just after 6:30 a.m., Kiski Township Police were notified by Armstrong County 911 of a man firing a gun outside of his home on Water Street.

Once officers arrived, the suspect went back into his home and then fired his weapon out of a second-story window.

Police then tried to talk him into surrendering.

He then came outside with a shotgun in hand and began threatening to kill officers and himself.

The suspect then went back inside for about 30 minutes and Pennsylvania State Police were called in and SERT troopers were able to make an entrance into the home and take the man into custody.

He was identified as 36-year-old Joshua Reilly of Kiski Township.

A search of the home found approximately one pound of methamphetamines, marijuana, additional guns, and a large sum of money.

Reilly is facing charges of terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, flight to avoid apprehension, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and others.
