Nicole Ford joined the KDKA team in December of 2019.

She’s ecstatic to be back in her hometown after reporting in the Carolina’s for the last five years.

Previously, Nicole worked as a Reporter at WSPA-TV in Greenville, SC and was a Weekend Anchor and Reporter at WCTI-12 in Greenville, NC.

While in the Carolina’s, she covered the landfall of Hurricane Matthew that caused historic flooding in the state, broke the story of BMX legend Dave Mirra’s death, and spent weeks in the courtroom for the Townville Elementary School shooter trial.

She also had the opportunity to travel to the Florida Panhandle to cover the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, which is one of only four Category 5 hurricanes to make landfall in the U.S.

Nicole is originally from the North Hills and grew up in Mars. She attended West Virginia University where she studied Journalism. Go Mountaineers!

In her free time, she loves traveling, reading, paddle boarding and spending time with her dog and family.
