For many, the holiday season just isn't complete without attending a concert by the amazing Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This year, its Ghost Of Christmas Eve concert is making a stop in Pittsburgh to share the songs and the story of this 1999 made-for-TV film in this never-before-seen tour. Exciting, mesmerizing and visually impressive sum up this rock-inspired holiday show that will also include pyrotechnics, massive string sections, earthshaking choirs and the iconic sound that you've come to love from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. An afternoon and evening show are scheduled for Dec. 27 at the CONSOL Energy Center.

Audiences of all ages will love the fun to be had when the all-female group Celtic Woman comes to Pittsburgh's Heinz Hall on Dec. 7, just in time for the start of the Christmas season. This year's tour is called Home For Christmas and will feature Ireland's breathtaking songstresses performing classic holiday music during a visually captivating, high-energy show. Hear your favorites like never before as these four ladies sing songs like "O Holy Night," "Panis Angelicus," "Let It Snow" and more. Celtic Woman: Home For Christmas is in town for one night only for a 7:30 p.m. concert.

There are many Pittsburgh holiday traditions, but a local favorite remains the concert performances by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. This season, the unbelievable orchestra will perform its Highmark Holiday Pops concert featuring sing-a-longs, a visit from Santa Claus himself and the angelic voices of the Mendelssohn Choir. Join Broadway conductor Todd Ellison in this spectacular concert full of seasonal sights and sounds. The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's Highmark Holiday Pops concert opens on Dec 11 and runs through Dec. 20 at Pittsburgh's Heinz Hall.

For one night only, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra welcomes you to attend its Handel's Messiah concert at Heinz Hall. Conductor Manfred Honeck will lead the orchestra in one of the most beloved oratorios that many consider to be among the best Christmas concerts. Hear the breathtaking sounds of the Hallelujah chorus, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and exclusive guest soloists in a celebration of the season.
