March 14th is Pi Day. The one day each year where numbers and pastries unite for the ultimate in number (and crust) crunching. March 14th represents the first two decimal places of Pi (3.14) and because it is a homonym for pie, the pastry in the English language, it is a fun reason to enjoy both pie and pi.
